Want to know the secret to avoiding auto accidents? Ask a delivery driver with a perfect driving record. Veteran UPS driver Bruce McAllister offers these safe driving tips:

Keep a space cushion around the car at all times. Leave a stopping distance of four to six seconds when traveling at 30 miles per hour and even more space when traveling at higher speeds
Keep your eyes on the road at least eight to twelve seconds ahead
When approaching blind curves on one-way roads, slow down, pull to the side and honk to alert cars you are there.
